IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR PROBLEM COULD BE DEALT WITH BY TALKING TO THE DOCTOR OR A TRIAGE NURSE ON THE TELEPHONE SO PLEASE MENTION THIS WHEN YOU SPEAK TO THE RECEPTIONIST.   PLEASE HELP BY DISCUSSING YOUR PROBLEM WITH THEM.

IF YOU ARE CALLING BECAUSE OF BACK OR JOINT PAIN PLEASE LET THE RECEPTIONIST KNOW. THE DUTY DOCTOR WILL CALL YOU BACK TO DISCUSS YOUR SYMPTOMS AND DECIDE IF AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT WITH THE PHYSIOTHERAPIST IS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION.  THANK YOU.THE DOCTORS

FLU VACCINATIONS

Appointments can be booked now for the flu vaccine

Call 762218 (after 11.00am) to make your appointment

Vaccination is recommended and offered for patients:

·  over 65

·  diabetic

·  pregnant

·  Chronic Heart Disease

·  Chronic Respiratory Disease and Asthma that requires continuous or   repeated use of inhaled or systemic steroids or with previous exacerbations requiring hospital admission (2 inhalers with script in last 3 months).

·  Chronic Kidney Disease

·  Chronic Liver Disease

·  Immunosuppression

·  Chronic Neurological Disease (including stroke/TIA, cerebral Palsy or MS)

·  receive a carer's allowance, or you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill

.  children over the age of six months with a long-term health condition
